This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is finished in Lyndale Blue over black upholstery and is powered by a replacement 327ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Acquired by the seller 27 years ago, the car features a white convertible top, flip-up headlights, side pipes, reproduction Kelsey-Hayes 15″ wheels, power-assisted steering and brakes, and an AM/FM cassette radio. Service within the last three months included an oil change. This 1967 Corvette is now offered at no reserve with the removed engine, wheels, and Delco Wonderbar radio, invoices from during current ownership, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Lyndale Blue and features flip-up headlights, a white convertible top, and chrome bumpers. Side pipes were added during previous ownership, and the seller reports that the hood was repainted approximately 25 years ago following a carburetor fire, and that the left front fender lip was repaired and repainted following a tire rub. Scratches and blemishes in the paint are displayed in the photo gallery below, and the seller notes that the soft top shows wear and may need replacement.
Reproduction 15″ Kelsey-Hayes–style bolt-on wheels are mounted with 205/75 Kumho Solus TA11 tires that show 2019 and 2020 date codes. The seller reports that service in 2019 included rebuilding the steering box and replacing the shocks, power steering steering control valve and hoses. Braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel discs.
The cabin is upholstered in black and the leather bucket seats were reportedly retrimmed by Al Knoch Interiors of Canutillo, Texas. Amenities include power-assisted steering and a replacement AM/FM cassette radio.
The woodgrain steering wheel sits ahead of a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and four auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 96k miles, approximately 5k of which were added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
The replacement 327ci V8 was rebuilt in 2008. Features include finned Corvette-script valve covers, cast exhaust manifolds, a chrome-finished air cleaner, and a point-less distributor covered by chrome ignition shielding. A Be Cool aftermarket radiator has been fitted, and service in 2019 included a rebuilding the Holley carburetor and replacing the spark plugs and wires. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
The engine block has been restamped and a photo of the stamping pad is provided above.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie four-speed manual transmission and a 4.11:1 rear end.
