Still have questions?

Quick answers to the most common questions. If yours is not here, our team is reachable Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm.

01 Are there any fees for the buyer?
No. Registration, browsing, and bidding are completely free. There is no buyer’s premium and no platform commission added to your invoice. Our service fee is paid by the lien holder selling the asset through Biltmore Motors, not by you.
02 What happens after I win?
Our team confirms the winning lot and prepares the invoice. Your designated sales assistant helps you follow the next steps from invoice and payment through shipping and delivery review. The invoice shows your winning bid, applicable taxes, and the shipping rate with no buyer’s premium or platform fee added.
03 Can I review the asset before bidding?
Every listing includes our condition notes and photos. If you need specific details before bidding, contact our team and we will confirm what is available for that lot.
04 How does payment work?
Payment instructions are sent after winning. The invoice shows the winning bid plus applicable taxes and the shipping charge. Your designated sales assistant can help you understand what is due and where each document belongs during closing.
05 Where do the auction lots come from?
Our lots are repossessed or institutionally sourced assets, usually from banks, leasing companies, and lien holder channels. Biltmore Motors lists them as dealer-run auctions.
06 Do you arrange shipping? How much does it cost?
Yes, shipping is our responsibility. The first 500 miles of delivery are free. Beyond that, shipping is $1.30 per mile. Your designated sales assistant helps coordinate updates with logistics once the sale moves into delivery.
07 What if an item is not as described?
From delivery, you have seven days to report documented condition issues. Your designated sales assistant helps route the request, and our team reviews the issue according to the sale terms. See our 7-day delivery review details for more information.
08 Can other buyers see my bid?
No. Bidding is sealed, so your bid stays private and there is no public leaderboard. You can place as many bids as you like until the auction closes, and our team confirms the result after closing.
09 How long have you been in business?
We’ve specialized in repossessed vehicle auctions for over 18 years. Our reputation is built on accurate listings, honest pricing, and support that doesn’t end at the sale. Thousands of satisfied customers, many of them repeat buyers, trust us with their next purchase.
10 What does your inspection cover?
Every vehicle goes through a 100+ point inspection before it is listed. Cosmetic condition is graded and photographed honestly, so what you see is what you get. Want extra peace of mind? You are welcome to arrange an independent third-party inspection through CARCHEX, LemonSquad, or any certified mechanic of your choice.
